What We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will help accelerate our code deployment process by developing improved testing and automation processes across our entire technology stack. Our DevOps team collaborates closely with our Application teams to identify opportunities to enhance ownership and empowerment throughout the Engineering and Product departments.

This role requires in-office presence in our New York City Office in Soho Manhattan for at least 3 days a week.

What You’ll Work On

  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to build tooling and monitoring capabilities, enhancing team ownership and transparency over our infrastructure.
  • Implement new configuration management tools and design solutions that promote automation and infrastructure as code principles.
  • Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure of our platform, leveraging best practices in containerization and automation to support CI/CD pipelines.

Required For the Role

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to: EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, ECR, S3, IAM, CodeBuild, Lambda, and Route53.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation tools.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating on software development projects.
  • Proficiency in at least one common programming language.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.

Bonus Points if You Have Experience with Any of the Following

  • Administration of PostgreSQL databases, Elasticsearch, Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Administration of Sidekiq, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other queue or Pub/Sub implementations.
  • Working with and administering Data pipelines for ETL purposes.
  • Implementing and working with both internal and external RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with SRE fundamentals and best practices in Reliability, Observability, and support.

Compensation:

To ensure transparency, we provide base salary ranges for all US-based job postings. Our ranges are based on function and level, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. The final offer will be determined by various factors, including skills, job-related knowledge, and work experience.

The compensation for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 base salary + equity + benefits.
