Role Overview

The Rewards team at [Your Client's Company] is responsible for developing and maintaining functionality that enables our merchants to engage, retain, and reward customers. We own core features such as Credits and Customer services.

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in extending our Reward platform by developing features across various portals and APIs. You will take ownership of end-to-end solution design and delivery, collaborating closely with your peers and other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-impact, high-performance, and high-scale products.
  • Understand roadmap priorities and prioritize coding tasks that have an immediate business impact.
  • Solve puzzles and debug issues across multiple layers of the stack.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to engineer simple solutions for complex problems.
  • Self-driven with a passion for taking ownership of work and delivering outcomes.
  • Experience with remote-first work in a high-growth company.
  • Versatility and enthusiasm to tackle new challenges across the full stack.
  • Proficiency in Python, Serverless, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms such as GCP or AWS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with micro-service architecture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other STEM-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrable cloud computing experience.
  • Prior e-commerce experience is preferred.
