As a Cloud Engineer with a specialization in Microsoft technologies, you will be entrusted with the task of conceptualizing, executing, and upholding our cloud architecture, with a primary emphasis on Azure and Microsoft 365. Your pivotal role will revolve around steering cloud strategy, formulating architectural blueprints, and fortifying security measures to ensure our cloud ecosystem aligns seamlessly with business objectives and industry benchmarks.

To excel in this role, you must boast extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, configuration, migration, and automation. Moreover, you should possess a robust understanding of Azure's infrastructure services, identity management protocols, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance standards. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and documentation prowess are also indispensable qualities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, impregnable, and resilient cloud solutions utilizing Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Administer and fine-tune Azure resources, encompassing VMs, Azure Active Directory, and Azure SQL databases.
  • Configure and uphold Microsoft 365 services, inclusive of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Uphold cloud security through the implementation of stringent access controls, network security protocols, and firewall configurations.
  • Streamline cloud deployments and configuration management via Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting, and ARM templates.
  • Monitor cloud performance metrics, institute proactive alerts, and swiftly address incidents to ensure uninterrupted operations and business continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to bolster CI/CD pipelines and advocate for DevOps best practices.
  • Supervise guest account administration and oversee external collaborations within the Microsoft 365 framework, ensuring adherence to security protocols and corporate policies.
  • Offer remedial counsel concerning Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) to sustain compliance and swiftly mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the administration of multiple Azure subscriptions, devising governance strategies, enforcing security measures, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers.
  • Remain abreast of the latest developments in cloud technologies and trends, proactively recommending enhancements to our cloud strategy.

Qualifications:

Education & Certificates:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Desired: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Desired: Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert

Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, with a predominant focus on Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated track record in deploying and managing cloud environments, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in deploying Azure AI solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI and other AI services.
  • Supplementary experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Cognitive Services, Document Intelligence, Azure ML, and O365 Microsoft Graph Connector would be advantageous.
