About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer in Developer Productivity Engineering, you'll play a vital role in our technology team, contributing to a challenging and innovative environment. You'll be pivotal in shaping and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployment, management, and processes for our IT Operations SaaS products.

Your journey with us involves collaborative engagement with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and stakeholders. You'll focus on enhancing our development process efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity by optimizing workflows, building tools, and advancing build and test processes.

Location: We offer flexibility for remote work from home, specifically for individuals located in the USA, residing in one of the following states: TX, FL, CA, NC, GA, CT, ME, KS, and VA.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to deliver scalable and reliable full-stack services, prioritizing the improvement of developer productivity.
  • Provide technical expertise in full-stack development and DevOps best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless provisioning and deployment of applications.
  • Continuously improve our platform's architecture to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Assist in deployments and release management across various environments.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency, maintain security compliance, and improve developer experience.
  • Mentor team members in full-stack development and Developer Productivity Engineering (DPE) practices.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for production support, offering guidance during and after business hours as needed.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology (preferred but not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong experience in AWS and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Go, Python, or Typescript.
  • Knowledgeable in agile tooling (Jira, Confluence), version control systems (Git, BitBucket, GitLab), and CI/CD tools (Circle CI a plus).
  • Experience with both monolithic and container-based application architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, operations, and native cloud application development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor team members.

Additional Information:

Starting pay varies based on location, market demands, experience, and skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and PTO. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $130,000 to $200,000 per year.
