Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of effectively planning, controlling, managing, and delivering all activities for projects and related initiatives.
  • Facilitate the definition of project objectives, scope, and schedule.
  • Manage the project risk register and associated mitigation plan.
  • Plan and track budgets and spending.
  • Lead new product development programs through production launch, coordinating with internal partners for successful transitions from planning phases through launch.
  • Drive improvements in team processes and tools.
  • Demonstrate leadership by acting as the primary conduit between Engineering, Product Management, Documentation, Support, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
  • Coordinate and communicate project status regularly to project teams, stakeholders across the value chain, and the executive team.
  • Manage teams, holding them accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
  • Promote empowerment of the team and mentor team members as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technical experience working with electromechanical systems.
  • 3+ years of program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines highly preferred.
  • Strong background in electromechanical hardware or material development and integration preferred.
  • Program management experience in advanced development or the development of new technologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to drive tangible results in a timely manner even when the work involves a high level of ambiguity.
  • Experience with managing contracts and relationships with external partners, including contract manufacturers.
  • Strong systems-level critical thinking skills.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Gantt and task management tools.
  • Working knowledge/experience with Jira preferred.
