Job Description:

As a Product Manager with us, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand our users, their needs, and their interaction with our platform.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of AM (Additive Manufacturing) and traditional manufacturing, analyze competitors, and stay updated on emerging trends relevant to our products.
  • Formulate and articulate a clear product vision and business rationale to executives, engineers, sales teams, and other stakeholders across the organization.
  • Define precise requirements for new printers, materials, and features based on insights derived from customer feedback, technology advancements, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and Program Management teams throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment on priorities and making informed tradeoff decisions.
  • Assist in shaping the go-to-market strategy and pricing decisions, and actively contribute to product launch activities and beyond.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing to develop content for go-to-market strategies and with Customer Experience to provide post-launch product support.

  • 5+ years of experience working with hardware, embedded systems, or connected products.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably with a track record of shipping multiple products.
  • Ability to advocate for the customer internally, driving business outcomes and ensuring customer success through product excellence.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
  • A genuine passion for solving customer problems and improving their experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking decisive action.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, materials engineering, or connected products is advantageous.

Additional Details:

This role is primarily based at our Headquarters in Waltham, MA, requiring on-site presence at least 4 days a week. Approximately 15% travel, both domestic and international, may be required for customer site visits, trade shows, and sales meetings.
