As a Senior Software Engineer for Client and Firmwide Platforms at BXTI, you will lead innovation, cultivate excellence, and contribute to Blackstone’s long-term success. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will spearhead technical solutions within the Fund Finance domain and mentor fellow engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership for the Client and Firmwide Platforms team, aligning technology endeavors with business objectives.
• Technology Strategy: Define and execute the technology roadmap for client-facing and firmwide platforms, leveraging emerging technologies for innovation and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior executives, business stakeholders, and technology partners to understand requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Solution Architecture: Offer technical guidance in software design and architecture, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.
• Project Execution: Drive technology projects to fruition, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and select solutions with external vendors and technology partners to drive value for Blackstone.
• Thought Leadership: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, proficient in C#, SQL, Python, and relevant technologies.
• Leadership experience, managing and mentoring software engineering teams.
• Strategic thinking, adept at aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Deep understanding of software development principles, architecture, and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering complex technology projects within budget and timeframe.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Preferred experience in the financial services industry or related field.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Compensation:

• Expected Annual Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $225,000
