About the Position

As a Software Engineer supporting Emerging Products, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of drug development at our client's organization. This role focuses on developing innovative software solutions integrating AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate drug development processes.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and domain experts in drug development to build and implement systems that enhance our ability to make strategic and operational decisions swiftly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions utilizing AI and LLM technologies to optimize strategic drug development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate on product features and functionalities.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of software systems.
• Quickly iterate on proofs-of-concept to validate new ideas and evolve software solutions in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and iterate efficiently on new features.
• Advocate for the use of AI and LLMs within the organization, providing expertise and insights to teams.

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of software development experience, with a track record of success in dynamic environments and launching new products.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of engaging stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds.
• Experience with AI technologies, particularly LLMs and machine learning.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software deployment practices (e.g., containerization, CI/CD).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industries is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, including a salary range of $153,000 - $200,000, aligned with the New York City market. In addition to base salary, we provide equity, generous perks, location flexibility, and comprehensive benefits.
