What would your day-to-day look like:

• Strategizing, scoping, and planning upcoming projects owned by the international team.
• Writing, reviewing, and optimizing code to improve product functionality.
• Innovating engineering solutions for enhanced user experiences across different verticals.
• Collaborating with product operations and managers to translate requirements into effective features.
• Engaging in project planning and pair programming sessions with fellow developers.

An ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software engineering.
• Proficiency in leading technical discussions and making sound architectural decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and operations.
• Experience with microservices architecture and expertise in Scala or similar JVM languages.
• Familiarity with gRPC, pub/sub, REST, and SOAP for service communication.
• Proven track record in delivering complex, long-term projects end-to-end.
• Thrives in technically challenging environments, particularly within the travel industry.
