The Role:

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong background in Ruby on Rails and extensive experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing numerous features and service enhancements planned by the company.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of the next-generation practice management platform
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to understand customer needs, address potential issues, and define future features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code to enhance the company's codebase
• Diagnose problems and devise effective solutions
• Desired Skills & Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript Framework, particularly Ember.js or React.js, and familiarity with associated ecosystems
• Experience in reporting and analytics
• Strong background in designing and implementing large, scalable web applications, with a focus on clean and elegant code
• Proven track record of taking Rails applications from ideation to production
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working with remote teams and utilizing collaboration tools like Pivotaltracker, GitHub, Slack, and Hangouts

• Deep understanding of web application security best practices
• Experience managing databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and Redis, as well as web servers like NGINX
• Proficiency in Linux, particularly CentOS/RHEL
• Familiarity with infrastructure management tools like Chef
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI/HIPAA
• Base Compensation Range: $150,000 - $180,000 annually

Base salary is only one component of the total compensation package, which may include bonuses, commissions, and other incentives. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and job-related considerations.
