About the Role
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and technically proficient Director of Software Engineering to spearhead a team of product development engineers in crafting cutting-edge IT Operations software solutions. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping our technology strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead and inspire a globally distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Mentor managers and team leads to enhance leadership strengths and drive overall team productivity.
Software Development: Guide the development of large-scale software applications, ensuring quality remains a top priority. Actively contribute to the development process to maintain our quality-first standards.
Product Development: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from technical strategy to deployment. Drive velocity in product development execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices.
Technical Roadmap: Collaborate across teams to define and deliver new products, features, and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business requirements.
Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
Technology Innovation and Research: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.

Starting pay varies based on location, experience, and other job-related factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and PTO. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $180,000 to $300,000 per year.
