About the Role

We're on the hunt for talented, high-caliber individuals to join our elite team of engineers. As the first Infrastructure Engineer, you will have an outsized impact and establish the core of an important function as our company grows. Our engineering culture emphasizes speed, end-to-end ownership, responsibility, and independence, attracting top-tier talent and promoting exceptional performance.

How You’ll Have Impact

• Manage and expand cloud infrastructure (Azure, Kubernetes), putting in place IaaC best practices.
• Oversee communications infrastructure (Email, SMS, Push) and monitor deliverability.
• Balance cost and latency in infrastructure optimization (e.g., auto-scaling spot instances).
• Implement security requirements (HITRUST and SOC2) and collaborate with the Technical Program Manager for audits.
• Develop dashboards and alerts to monitor product health.
• Maintain databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) with backups, migrations, and security/privacy controls while monitoring performance and stability.
• Collaborate with other team members in a fully remote work environment (west coast time zone).

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Git, Kubernetes, Bash, and Networking (DNS, SSL, IP).
• Familiarity with Azure, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Github, and VSCode.
• Security-oriented mindset and experience implementing security best practices.
