What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and implement features that align with our strategic goals.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code, perform code reviews, and ensure successful deployment.
• Identify and address areas for improvement in our architecture and application design.
• Develop tools and utilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain proper technical documentation and design.
• Adapt to a rapidly evolving environment, providing creative solutions to complex problems.

Your Profile:

• Typically, a minimum of 7 years of experience in shipping high-scale code to production.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Kotlin (preferred), Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and database concepts.
• Experience in developing APIs.
• Passionate about backend technologies such as search, streaming, or databases.
• Problem-solving skills and a commitment to helping others achieve their goals.

Bonus If You Have:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-engineers and work cross-functionally.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position in Dallas, TX is $157,000 - $196,000, plus equity and benefits. Salary within this range is determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details will be provided during the hiring process.
