As a Platform Engineer, you will play a vital role in owning the continuous integration and continuous deployment process while maintaining and enhancing infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies like Terraform. You'll collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud products on platforms like Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines across various development projects.
• Monitor and address security findings identified in the Azure Security Center.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks, enhancing deployment frequency and stability.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems for proactive issue resolution and performance optimization.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate new tools to improve development and deployment processes.
• Architect and construct scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure to support application development and deployment.
• Manage underlying infrastructure, including cloud services and on-premises resources, to optimize performance, cost, and scalability.
• Ensure platform compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements by integrating security practices into the platform's design and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain shared operational infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code platforms like Terraform.
• Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Data Dog and Azure Application Insights.
• Ability to program or script using languages like C#, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, and knowledge of infrastructure and platform services.
• Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals, security principles, and compliance standards.
• Background as a software developer is a plus, particularly in Python, C#, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
