About the Position

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Merchant Platform team in San Francisco. You will play a crucial role in building a scalable platform that supports our suite of financial services. The Merchant Platform team oversees the infrastructure for money movement across our products and provides essential tools for our product teams. Collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, you will contribute to launching new products and enhancing existing ones to elevate user experience and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Taking ownership of key components of our merchant platform infrastructure and leading new initiatives.
  • Architecting and implementing infrastructure improvements to support product development and enhance system robustness.
  • Collaborating across teams to enhance internal tools, monitoring, alerting systems, and overall system reliability.

What We’re Searching For:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend engineering.
  • Strong commitment to building high-quality software and a passion for engineering excellence.
  • Experience driving platform initiatives and building scalable solutions.
  • Ability to identify common challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic team environment and contributing to foundational company growth.
