We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to lead our data analysis and reporting efforts. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional passionate about transforming complex data sets into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, operations, and finance, to provide strategic recommendations and drive data-related initiatives. Your expertise in data analytics and data visualization will contribute to the success of our business and help us make data-driven decisions.
What You'll Do
- Participate in our data architecture and governance efforts
- Create and maintain a single source of truth for the enterprise data dictionary
- Become a subject matter expert in end-to-end enterprise data flow
- Lead data council meetings, maintaining accurate agendas, notes, and action items
- Provide cross-functional program management support for data changes across systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop effective data-driven solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track key business metrics
- Identify and analyze data quality issues, implementing solutions to ensure accurate and reliable data
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics, sharing knowledge with the team
- Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
- 5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, systems analyst, or similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of databases and experience in querying and working with large datasets
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Experience with FiveTran
- Experience with Salesforce/Intaact
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and distill actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Experience with dbt data tools is a plus
Compensation
- Targeted base salary: $125,000 - $135,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience
