About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain cutting-edge backend infrastructure. Our goal is to revolutionize how applications are built by creating a robust, scalable backend platform that simplifies complex engineering tasks and database management. As our infrastructure grows, we need an exceptional engineer with a strong background in designing and operating web infrastructure at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain global cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Take ownership of SRE/DevOps responsibilities, including automating monitoring and logging tools, developing traffic infrastructure for efficient and secure routing, managing release processing, versioning, and CI/CD.
• Establish and enforce reliability guidelines, ensuring systems meet goals for durability, availability, and performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a deep understanding of systems at scale.
• Proven expertise in best practices for system configuration, building internal systems from scratch, and deploying services.
• Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
• Interest in working in-person at our office in San Francisco.
• Ability to write high-quality code; knowledge of Rust is a plus.
