What we need:

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead responsible for devising and executing testing strategies for our client's platform. You'll oversee the planning, development, and implementation of manual and automated tests, ensuring seamless integration with both software and hardware components. Your role involves defining quality standards, collaborating with various departments, and establishing efficient testing processes throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

This position operates within the Software Development team and reports to the VP of Engineering. While the preferred location is Atlanta, GA, remote work options are available for candidates residing outside Georgia and Nevada.

What you will be doing:

  • Devise interdisciplinary testing strategies encompassing software, hardware, and manual processes.
  • Collaborate with product teams to establish quality-based acceptance criteria for new products.
  • Manage reporting and analysis of functional regressions across the platform.

Technical Skills required:

  • Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Puppeteer, or Cypress.io.
  • Experience with test management tools such as TestMo, TestRail, or BrowserStack.
  • Strong command of JavaScript or TypeScript; familiarity with Go and Python is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Apache AB, or Locust is a plus.

What experience and skills you need to have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA or SQA) / Quality Engineering (QE).
  • Proven track record in defining test strategies for scaling quality organizations.
  • Experience in API testing (GraphQL preferred) and testing infrastructure in cloud or on-premises environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

For candidates in California, Colorado, and Illinois, the compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000.
