Opportunity

We're seeking infrastructure engineers who are self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow. While advanced expertise in our tooling/tech stack is beneficial, a solid understanding of standard infrastructure concepts and production troubleshooting is key.

What You'll Do

  • Prioritize production operations and on-call responsibilities.
  • Provide real-time customer support as required.
  • Manage and scale multi-datacenter Kubernetes Infrastructure and Applications (EKS).
  • Deploy software across multiple production environments.
  • Take ownership of monitoring and alerting for production systems, driving improvements and changes.
  • Contribute to enhancing current automation and on-call processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Availability for on-call rotation for production issues.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with a distributed team across different time zones.

Desired Skill Set

  • 4+ years of experience in production troubleshooting.
  • 1+ years of hands-on Kubernetes knowledge (operations).
  • Basic familiarity with Terraform (1+ years).
  • Experience setting up and utilizing monitoring and observability tools (e.g., New Relic, Nagios/Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • 2+ years of programming/scripting experience in languages such as Perl, Python, PHP, GoLang, or Java.
  • 8+ years of expertise in modern Linux operating systems (Enterprise Linux or Debian-based).
  • 6+ years of experience with modern cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Differentiators

  • Experience troubleshooting production performance/service degradation or outage issues at scale.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure troubleshooting in VMs and/or Bare Metal environments (ssh/Linux).
  • Direct customer support experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Experience operating NoSQL and/or Relational Databases in production.
  • Familiarity with generic configuration management.

Compensation

The total compensation package includes an anticipated salary range of $131,000.00 to $154,000.00, in addition to bonus, equity, and benefits. Benefits encompass a 401k plan with company match, basic life insurance, as well as comprehensive health, dental, vision, and other perks.

Please note that this is not a remote role but a HYBRID position requiring presence in our Denver, CO office 2-3 days a week. Relocation assistance is not available at this time.
