About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer - Technical Lead - Vulnerability Team member for our client, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of IT Operations products. Your expertise will drive the development of scalable solutions and platform enhancements, ensuring our client's offerings exceed industry standards. With a focus on technical leadership, you'll champion existing functionalities while spearheading innovative solutions for our Vulnerability team, consistently surpassing customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of Software Applications: Lead the development of large-scale software applications, prioritizing quality and adhering to best practices to uphold our client's high standards.

2. Software Architecture & Leadership: Influence critical data architecture decisions, demonstrate exemplary software development practices, and provide guidance on test enablement and code documentation. Identify areas for iteration based on insights from support teams.

3. Other duties as needed.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in Java and/or C++ software development for product applications or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience working with highly scalable systems.
  • Proficiency in large-scale systems and adept at finding scalable solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of OOP design principles and expertise in scaling data structures.
  • Familiarity with API best practices, REST service development, and relational database design.
  • Experience with caching systems, particularly Redis, is advantageous.
  • Expertise in quality testing practices.

This position does not offer Visa sponsorship. Salary for this role varies based on factors such as location, experience, and market demands. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and PTO. For roles based in California, the base salary hiring range is $150,000 - $240,000 per year.
