As an HR Tech Lead, you will spearhead the development and management of cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the HR landscape. Your primary role involves orchestrating a team of skilled technologists to conceptualize, construct, implement, and maintain innovative solutions across diverse platforms such as Workday, Ceridian, and Global View. By closely collaborating with business stakeholders, you will drive strategic initiatives while ensuring the seamless execution of technical projects. Our internal applications rely on a robust microservice architecture deployed via cloud-hosted Kubernetes environments, leveraging technologies like AWS, .NET Core, Python, Snowflake, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop web applications or integrate 3rd party solutions to augment HR functionalities.
  • Collaborate with HR, Strategic Incentives, Payroll, and external partners to identify and address areas for enhancement.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like Jira to manage project workflows effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation to streamline operations.
  • Lead technical design discussions and code reviews to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to the team in project planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Prioritize and troubleshoot business and technical initiatives effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 12 years of professional experience in software engineering with expertise in .NET Core or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday is essential.
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and finance processes.
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition or HR functional areas.
  • Proven track record in project management for custom software development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for adopting new technologies.
  • Ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
  • Desire to mentor and guide team members while making significant individual contributions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
