Job Description: As a Senior DevOps Engineer for the Planview Platform Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our suite of products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps solutions that support strategic portfolio management, project portfolio management, enterprise agile planning, and other key areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of Planview products, ensuring efficient delivery and minimal downtime.
  • Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to support the scalability and reliability requirements of our platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalability enhancements.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation to enable consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation, and apply them to enhance our engineering processes and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, and proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
