About the Role

Our client is an engineering-driven company on a mission to build the best engineering team and product on the market for B2B financial operations. They are seeking exceptional engineers across the entire stack to join their founding team. They look for individuals with a broad set of technical skills, who are highly cross-functional, and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and thrives on owning projects from inception to scaling in production.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the technical vision through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase, productivity, and team.
  • Recruit, interview, and develop high-caliber engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.
  • Engage with customers to inspire and solve their most challenging problems.

What You Need

  • A minimum of 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading and delivering high-quality products at scale.
  • Extensive experience with Python and/or Typescript.
  • A strong desire to work at an early-stage company, building systems and processes from the ground up.
  • Willingness to engage directly with customers, understanding their needs, and translating them into engineering solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • A commitment to continuously grow and master your craft, with a relentless focus on customer pain points and how to address them.
