This position is 100% remote. We prefer applicants located in Spain and Ireland but will also consider candidates from the Czech Republic, Poland, Netherlands, France, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, and Lithuania.

The Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and help us scale and grow our online advertising business. This role involves building and maintaining enterprise-class systems that operate 24/7, supporting major technology companies by serving and optimizing ads and managing revenue flows.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with media buyers engaged in direct arbitrage, account teams managing publisher networks, and data science teams working on analysis and machine learning to optimize our marketplace.
• Utilize technology tools and methodologies such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and Memcache/Redis.
• Demonstrate experience or aptitude in learning new technologies, with an emphasis on clean, scalable code.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working in a team-based setting and interacting directly with stakeholders.
• Experience with building software or web applications using object-oriented or functional programming languages.
• High volume, high availability experience.
• Ability to foster group decision-making, team ownership, and collaboration.
• Experience deploying and maintaining continuous integration and deployment.
• A strong focus on testing strategies to scope, refine, and plan new features and projects.
• Enjoyment in solving complex problems and understanding good software development practices.

Skills & Background:

• Python
• PHP (Laravel experience is a plus)
• JavaScript
• MySQL
• Redis/Memcache
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• GCP or AWS experience is a plus
