We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to become a vital member of our Data team. This role is essential for managing and generating insights from our data, enabling us to be a top destination for live event goers.
Responsibilities
- Develop data pipelines using SQL- and Python-based ETL frameworks to acquire, process, and deliver data.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including Data Scientists, Analysts, Data Platform Engineers, and Software Engineers to understand data use cases and product requirements.
- Implement best practices for data cataloging and lead the collection and documentation of our data sources.
- Architect and QA performant data models to enable analysis in a data warehouse setting.
- Assist in triaging and debugging on-call requests in a rotational schedule.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics, Data, or Software Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, psychology, computer science, statistics, mathematics).
- Expert-level knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with dbt is a plus.
- Skilled in developing new metrics, performing analysis with large datasets, and interfacing with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
