The Role

Our client is funded by notable investors and industry leaders and is building innovative software to address labor shortages in a rapidly growing sector within the logistics space.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire product development process, from concept to completion, with a focus on API-first architecture.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO in Los Angeles to develop a new B2B SaaS platform.
• Lead the product development, manage an engineering team as the product scales, and take substantial ownership based on impact.
• Engage in extensive experimentation and respond to customer feedback to refine the product.

Experience We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in building software with an API-first approach.
• A strong preference for solving problems with elegant code rather than relying on off-the-shelf developer tools.
• Proficiency in a production environment using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Expertise in architecting and maintaining relational database systems like PostgreSQL.
• Skill in writing resilient unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with various frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with continuous integration platforms such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
