We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and innovative climate technology venture. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to empower energy companies to enhance and report on their emissions footprint through our cutting-edge enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain, enhance, and extend our suite of web-based products and services.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of new applications and features for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for web applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Implement enhancements to improve website and application performance, user experience, and usability across diverse platforms.
  • Partner with hardware, software, and data science teams to innovate solutions that enable oil and gas operators to measure, visualize, understand, and mitigate their emissions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency in building web application backend APIs using TypeScript, React, and C#.
  • Familiarity with GIS and timeseries data.
  • Strong understanding of React and experience in completing single-page applications.
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries like Plotly or recharts.
  • Familiarity with modern ORMs like Entity Framework.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
