About the role:

Insomnia is a prominent API development platform used by millions of developers worldwide to enhance digital products across various organizations. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Insomnia API client by developing new features and tools. This position is remote-friendly.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to craft impactful product experiences.
• Develop and enhance features within the Insomnia API client.
• Work closely with technical leaders to implement optimal solutions.
• Engage with the Insomnia open-source community and contribute to its growth.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Go programming, with a focus on scalable, production-ready software.
• Strong proficiency in testing and a commitment to scalable coding practices.
• At least 4 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, GraphQL, TCP, WebSockets, SSE).
• Ability to validate work through qualitative or quantitative data.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Compensation: Competitive base pay ranges globally, USD 152,000 - 175,460 for this role in USD.
