As a Principal Machine Learning Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the data-centric innovation landscape for our client's organization. Drawing from your extensive experience in machine learning, data sciences, and backend engineering, you will lead a team in developing cutting-edge machine recognition, prediction, and information processing systems. Your expertise will drive the extraction of valuable insights at scale from diverse datasets sourced from multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development of a comprehensive platform facilitating all aspects of data-centric innovation, from organization to productionization and ongoing monitoring of machine learning pipelines.
  • Design and implement infrastructure, select tools, and establish automated workflows to support a global data science team of over 40 members.
  • Define and enforce cohesive processes and standards while driving the adoption of machine learning platforms across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project plans and ensure seamless integration and deployment of models and pipelines.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on complex data science projects, optimizing machine learning and data transformation code for scalability and robustness.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in working with machine learning models, including deployment into production environments.
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related computational field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in NLP, computer vision, or deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, or HuggingFace.
  • Proficient with big data systems like Apache Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, SparkML, MLFlow, KubeFlow, etc.
  • Experience with batch orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow) or streaming services and systems.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platform Technologies in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Possess a data-centric mindset with a penchant for diving into data with methodical grace.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to coordinate complex project execution with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Scala, Kafka, Apache Beam, Flink, Redis, Docker, or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with recommender systems, entity extraction, or entity resolution.

The compensation for this role ranges from $192,000.00 to $240,000.00 annually, alongside bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, skills, and experience.
