What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate closely with product engineering and DevOps teams to scale our platform.
  • Facilitate a seamless development experience, ensuring efficient onboarding and rapid deployment through robust observability.
  • Develop maintainable, high-quality code, conduct thorough testing, and oversee the release process.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing architecture and application design scalability.
  • Build diagnostic tools and utilities to resolve system issues efficiently.
  • Ensure technical excellence through effective design and documentation.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, contributing creative solutions to fluid processes.
  • Apply your expertise to elevate technical standards and provide architectural guidance.

Your Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience delivering high-scale production code.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C).
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for problem-solving and enabling team success.
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Passion for backend technologies like search, streaming, or databases.

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Interest in container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
